Toy State Toys | Hot Wheels Hyper Racer Review

March 23, 2015 By Emily 16 Comments

"Hot Wheels" "Toy State" "Hot Wheels Hyper Racer" "Boy Toys" "Car Toys" "Christmas Toys for Boys" "Toy State" "Hot Wheels" "Racing Cars" "Color Changing Cars"

Like many children, my boys were SO excited to open gifts on Christmas morning. They couldn’t wait.  And like many parents I tried really hard to give them gifts I thought would last and they’d enjoy for many many months if not a few years. Inevitably a few toys fall flat. We usually end up trying to put them away for a few months and see if the excitement will be there after the newness of their favorite holiday toys wears off.

However, thankfully there are always many toys that are loved and played with on a daily basis. One of which happens to be the Toy State Hot Wheels Hyper Racer!

"Boy Toys" "Car Toys" "Christmas Toys for Boys" "Toy State" "Hot Wheels" "Racing Cars" "Color Changing Cars"

My boys love the Hot Wheels brand and these vehicles don’t disappoint!  They love seeing who will win! With the push of a button, hear the engine kick into ‘Hyper Mode’ and watch as the car body transforms into a completely new color. They also have cool music and different cool car noises. My boys really love playing at night so they can see the light up vehicles speed down their “race track”.

So funny story, we got the Hot Wheels Hyper Racer to review a few weeks before Christmas from Toy State. I decided to wrap it up and put it under the tree for both boys. Little did I know that my In-Laws also purchased one of these for our 2 year old.  So the boys we SO excited when they figured out they each had one, they started racing them down our long hallway and haven’t stopped. Thankfully like the other Toy State toys we own, these are very well constructed and have stood up the wall bumping and car crashes they’ve incurred since coming to live in our home!

Our Review

My 5 year old gives it 5 stars. He says the way it lights up is awesome and he loves crashing it. He especially likes racing them at night to see them “zoom fast” down the hallways with their hyper lights on!

My 2 year old is excited that he has a car just like his brother, and I’m pretty sure he also loves watching it crash into the walls.

I love that they are still playing with this toy several months later.  I would highly recommend Toy State toys and the Hot Wheels Hyper Racer for anyone looking for a gift under $20.

Buy It!

You can find it and all the other awesome Toy State Toys at Toys R Us, Target, Walmart or online at Amazon.

Wow. Hot Wheels has certainly come a long way. I remember when they were only tiny little cars.

That looks like an awesome toy. I like Hotwheels, my boys typically enjoy their stuff. I like that it is under $20 too. Toys are getting so expensive.

Hot Wheels make the best toys. My son had all the different tracks when he was little. This would make a great gift.
