Happy Friday Everyone!
I can’t believe it’s been a week since I got to go to the NKOTB The Main Event Tour stop in Las Vegas as a Cottonelle Correspondent! It was such a fun event it still feels like yesterday!
I knew it was going to be a fun night, but I had no idea how much fun the concert would be. Sure my inner tween was jumping with joy, but as a grown woman – I had a total blast!
(I’m in between Joey McIntyre and Jonathon Knight!)
We started off with a NKOTB Meet & Greet. Cottonelle had hooked several fans up with a chance to meet the band too! I was surprised at how many fans they gave the opportunity to meet the band. The NKOTB came out and went through the whole line shaking hands with all their fans… Except for Danny Wood and Donnie Wahlberg. They gave each and every fan a hug. I told Donnie that I was a big fan of his show Blue Bloods, and he said, “Well, it’s on tonight – guess you aren’t watching it!”. Don’t worry Donnie – I DVR that so we were all good!
After we got to meet the band and take a picture with them, we went to a really nice dinner at the Border Grill inside the Mandalay Bay. We went with the other Cottonelle Corespondent Andie from Maybe I Will (check out her blog – she’s awesome and super inspiring!) and her guest. Dinner was amazing – I highly recommend checking them out.
Cottonelle had set up a fun photo booth for all the fans to take a cute picture to email to themselves, and they’d also set up a cardboard cut out step and repeat for fans to take a picture in front of as well. Through out the event they were surprising fans with NKOTB swag and upgraded seats if they shared their images with #GoCottonelle and #Entry on Twitter.
Cottonelle also took over all the concert bathrooms. Providing CleanRipple samples and Cottonelle toilet paper in the stalls. They also had a bathroom attendent on duty to help make sure everyone had everything they needed to stay fresh and #GoCommando. Honestly, it was a really nice touch. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been at a concert and had to wait longer because the stalls ran out of TP!
The show started out with Nelly and the St. Lunatics. Listening to all his popular songs really brought me back to my college years. He was great – and the stage was set up so that no one had a bad seat. TLC came on next. It was sad to see them without Left Eye, but they really still put on a great show. I had forgotten how much I loved their song “UnPretty”.
Finally it was time for THE MAIN EVENT! The NKOTB still know how to get their fans up and into the show. With moving stages, pyrotechnics, and solos from 3 of the 5 guys – it was a blast. It lasted a long time too! I was having so much fun. Everyone was having so much fun!
If the @NKOTB Main Event Tour comes to your area – I highly recommend making a girls night out of it! It was a complete blast, and something I won’t forget any time soon! Thank you Cottonelle for allowing me to attend as an official Cottonelle Correspondent.
