Mom Pick Monday| Non-Slip Sparkly Soul Headbands

March 4, 2013 By Emily 24 Comments

My Mom Pick of the week is something for all my active mamas!

"Workout Headbands" "Activewear" "Sparkly" "Sparkly Soul Review"

Sparky Soul, Inc is a super fun company that makes Non-Slip headbands that are actually 100% Non-slip!

I can’t tell you how many times I have purchase headbands that claim to be non-slip only to have them slip off my head.  I had really truly developed a complex about my head.

It was frustrating too, because when I workout nothing makes me more crazy than when my hair keeps falling into my face.  Seriously, I’d rather deal with people on machines in front of me farting than deal with my hair in my face!  I’d either end up working out in a hat, or using hard plastic headbands to keep the hair out of my face.  The hat would usually lead to me breaking out on my forehead and the plastic headbands almost always give me a headache… I’d pretty much resigned myself to having  to grow my hair long enough to tie back and hope nothing snuck out.

Not anymore!!

"Thin Headbands" "Wide headbands" "Non-Slip Headbands" "Sparkly Sout"

Baby D loved Mommy’s sparkle!

I wasn’t expecting much when I tried the Sparkly Soul headbands out, but I love sparkles so I figured I’d deal with the slipping for some added sparkle.   However, I am hear to tell you – THESE HEADBANDS DO NOT SLIP!  It says on the instructions that you should be careful not to push the band back too far, but my sister pushed the limits and still didn’t have any slippage!

"Thin Headbands" "Wide headbands" "Non-Slip Headbands" "Sparkly Sout"

My sister and my son rocking some Sparkly Soul Headbands!

Perfect for working out, or just adding a little sparkle to your day, the headbands come in two sizes, thin (3/8 of an inch) and wide(5/8 of an inch), and sparkly all the way around.  They have SO many colors to choose from, limiting yourself is very hard.  I know I will be going back to purchase some more!  I really feel like I need a black one, a blue one, a green one, and maybe every other color!!

"Thin Headbands" "Wide headbands" "Non-Slip Headbands" "Sparkly Soul"

While the company was created by a marathoner and triathlete for all the women “who find their strength and soul while pushing themselves to their athletic limits”, I think it is a product that all moms will want too!  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve struggled to get both the kids ready to face the day only to find out that there is little or no time left for myself.  Now I just throw on my Sparkly Soul and put my hair in a pony and I’m good to go!

When it comes to working out in the bands, I have to admit I am a little partial to the thin band.  I just like the way it feels like it is completely not even there! But, if I am looking to add one to my everyday outfit, I’m digging the wider look!  Either way I am 100% loving these headbands, and so is my son.  He thinks they make pretty cool superhero bands!

"Thin Headbands" "Wide headbands" "Non-Slip Headbands" "Sparkly Soul" "Superhero"

Chances are if you see me in the gym from here on out I will be rocking one of my Sparkly Soul, Inc headbands which is why I have picked them as my Mom Pick of the week!

Are you ready to SPARKLE?  Sparkly Soul headbands retails starting at $15.00

You can find Sparkly Soul, Inc on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest!

See you back next week for another great Mom Pick!

I’m debating cutting my hair because it’s at “that” stage – a headband certainly would help to let me grow it out, but I’ve never had one that doesn’t slip. hmm…decisions, decisions!!

I hate the slippage but I worry because almost all headbands cause me to get a headache.

Cute! They look like they do a great job of holding your hair and not shooting off the back of your head.

These look like they’d actually work for holding down those postpartum-baby-flyaway-hairs I’m battling these days!

These are so cute I would love to try them. I have no luck with head bands, every head band that I try always slip off, so these may just work for me 🙂

There’s noticeably a bundle to understand about this. I assume you created certain nice points in attributes also.
