Eco-Eggs Easter Egg Coloring Kit {Review & Giveaway}

March 16, 2011 By Emily

"Eco-Kids" "Natural Play" "Natural Art Supplies" "Family Life" "Toddler Art" "Family and Life in Las Vegas"

Can you believe Easter is right around the corner?  You know what that means? It’s time to dye some Easter Eggs!

Thankfully eco-kids has an all natural option for your family.
(Want to learn more about eco-kids – check out my sponsor highlight post!)

eco-eggs easter egg coloring kit

"Natural Egg Dye" 'Eco Egg" "Easter Egg Dye Kit"

Made using natural plant, fruit and vegetable extracts. This kit includes three natural dyes (orange, blue and purple), a color chart for creating 6 colors and instructions for coloring eggs. Bonus – printable activity sheets, eco-eggs creature cutouts and how-to video available on our website.

The kit comes with 3 colors, and a coloring chart with instructions.  In all you can do 6 different colored eggs.

This really was the easiest egg dying I have ever done.  All I needed was glasses, warm water, and a utensil to stir the coloring in.

I had brown eggs on hand, so I used those, but imagine the colors would show up MUCH better on white eggs.

"Eco-Kids" "Natural Play" "Natural Art Supplies" "Family Life" "Toddler Art" "Family and Life in Las Vegas"With the brown eggs – you couldn’t tell much difference between yellow and orange.  The purple turned out great!  The blue didn’t want to take so well on the brown egg, but I imagine I could have left it in longer too!

"Eco-Kids" "Natural Play" "Natural Art Supplies" "Family Life" "Toddler Art" "Family and Life in Las Vegas"Also included in your kit are these adorable animal paper egg outfits!  They are so cute!

My Review

The whole process was SUPER easy.  Kids 2+ will love helping you create their eggs.  I love that the dyes are all natural and the packaging is eco friendly.

I loved these, and plan on buying them for our family for years to come.  eco-eggs easter egg coloring kit gets an EXTRA SQUISHABLE!

Review Rating Scale

You can head over to eco-kids and purchase your eco-eggs easter egg coloring kit.

    What I learned about ecokids is that I SO wish I knew about them when my chemically sensitive eldest child was little – we made all our own play-doh but paint would have been great to have. Kudos to this creative duo.
