We do lots of swimming holes all over the place. We are blessed enough to live near lots of ponds, lakes and the ocean. ๐Ÿ™‚ They also love their popsicle and ice cream treats

I try to keep my baby out of the heat as much as possible but when we are outside, I al ways take a small spray bottle filled with cold water so that I can mist my daughter every now an then. She always laughs when the cool mist hits her!

I keep my children cool by ensuring they wear cotton clothing, stay in the shade as much as possible and make sure they are well hydrated.

Right now, my little one is just too little for too much outside time. So really we just dress him in very light jumpers and make sure he’s pretty much always in the shade. When he gets bigger though, I plan on plenty of water as well as outside water fun with sprinklers, slides and a small pool. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s extremely hot here (FL). I keep him inside during the heat of the day. To keep him cool other times, I give him a popsicle or a cool bath.

To keep cool during the dog days of summer, we like to swim in the pool, we dress our granddaughter in light-colored and light-weight clothing (shorts, bubble rompers, tank tops) and we avoid going out in early afternoon when the sun is at its peak.
