Recently we made the decision to switch our play area with our dining room. The reason we did this was that Squishy was looking for more “safe” area to roam around in. This became extremely clear when he picked up and pushed the super-yard over a foot while still inside of it.
Here is our dining room before:
(We did actually get a beautiful dinning room table, but for some reason I never took a picture. It is the same color as the hutch.)
(You can see why we were concerned with him pushing that super-yard around.)
If you know anything about me you know I am not a crafty person. I am a wanna-be crafty person. Besides that I am afraid to take a paintbrush to my walls, because I am OCD about things not being straight, or edges not being clean. (Which is funny because piles of laundry don’t do a thing to my OCD…)
So I was worried about how I was going to decorate the walls of the dining-room turned playroom. I knew I wanted it to be child-friendly because even though it is a dining-room, I know it will be our playroom as long as we are in this house. So needless to say I was excited when Zoocchini agreed to let me review their newest product, Wall Dots!
One of the super cute wall dots!
My blank slate…
When they came in the mail I was super excited, I knew exactly where I was going to put them. Seriously, aren’t they just the cutest! They were super easy to put up, and perfect for someone like me, as they are easily removed and re-applied until you feel like they look exactly right.
Once they were up, I was bit by the decorating bug. I took a deep breath, pulled out my paints and an hour or so later, was left with this!
Sure it isn’t perfect, and I can see more ‘flaws’ then I am sure everyone else can, but it was fun to do, and the Wall Dots are perfect! Thanks to Zoocchini and their fun Wall Dots for not only the inspiration for the wall, but also for a product fit for any person, crafty or not! Total cost of this wall makeover = less than $20.00!!
You can check out all the fun Zoocchini products on their webpage, as well as check them out on facebook, and twitter. You can even sign up for their mailing list to be sure to keep up with all their fun product lines!
Aren’t these super cute too!!
(Disclaimer: Zoocchini sent me a set of Wall Dots to review, but no monetary compensation was given for this review. This review is 100% my honest opinion, and may be different than yours.)
