Dear Squishy,
While I appreciate your love for cars, a hug and a kiss before the “Vroom Vroom meltdown” begins in the morning goes a long way for your mama. So far every morning for the last week has resulted in a massive tantrum until your a car is placed in your hand.
I am seriously thinking of sending you to Automotive Anonymous.
Case in point – anything in your Easter basket that didn’t have wheels was tossed aside for more mobile toys.
Even Dear Elmo Egg was passed on for a car counterpart! (I hope that doesn’t last because we just bought you Elmo Live tickets for your birthday!) It’s a good thing you can’t read yet, otherwise I just spilled the beans!
This past Sunday was Easter. You were an AWESOME egg hunter. You loved going around the yard and finding all the colorful eggs. You were a joy to watch. I especially liked when you couldn’t seem to find the egg even though it was right in front of your face. So funny!
In other fun news, you talk more and more everyday.
Hop, Bird, Please, Jump, Choo-Choo, Knock-Knock, and Honk.
Food:
We learned you don’t like spicy food yet. An accidental jalapeno made it’s way into your cheese quesadilla this weekend. You were NOT a happy camper!
Sweet Moments:
For the past two weeks you have been wanting me to snuggle with you before bed. My little man, who hasn’t wanted to snuggle or rock since he was 5 months old, and now you want to. Well, I am glad to do so! You can snuggle like a little baby with your mama as long as you want.
So that was this week. I love how much you are growing each day! “Vroom Vroom Melt-downs” are small potatoes to all the awesome parts to our day. Plus, one day I may just be able to tease your about your obsessive love for motor vehicles.
Xoxxo,
Mama

I love it! I can relate to the obsession with things – Princess Nagger’s obsession with dinosaurs mirrors his obsession with cars. 🙂 He’s so CUTE!!!

Awww!! It’s so hard to watch them turn into big kids! My 2 year old love cars, too!!! I’m going to ahve to get her some because we don’t have any. 🙁 Poor 3rd child- they don’t always get what they really want- they have to make do with what we already have! 🙂

At least hot wheels are the kind of thing you can buy and feel like they don’t break the budget. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Tiffany!! Hope you had a great weekend!
