Things I’m Loving RIGHT NOW | @Athleta Clothing

This Christmas I got a gift certificate from Athleta from the Hubs. They carry mostly fitness inspired clothing. (I asked for it, and he listened!) However, after the “getting the card” incident, we almost gave up on Athleta.

You see, not only did my husband have to deal with their customer service twice to get the order to go through (he is in Afghanistan, this is NOT an easy feat.) They also called and left a message on our HOME phone asking the Hubs to call “about the gift card he ordered” prior to Christmas.

Yep, I knew what my gift was going to be. (And while mildly annoyed at a ruined surprise, still super excited to get the gift card!)

I thought there was nothing Athleta could do to win me over again.  I mean who leaves the item purchased on a message machine a few weeks before a major gift giving holiday?

However, I had this gift card, and I was ready to give them a second chance. (Besides, I love to shop…)

Upon entering the store in Minnesota, I was enchanted by the colors and adorable items waiting for me to pick them up and take them home.

And then there was the customer service.  It took a good while for someone to approach me, but when they did the service didn’t stop.  Everyone was so helpful.  Suggesting different items, and helping me spend though my gift card in mere moments. I probably had 3 different associates helping me in the fitting room alone!

MAJOR BONUS: They had a coloring table in the fitting rooms set up for kids like my Squishy to occupy themselves with while mommy was shopping!

Athleta did indeed end up winning me back as a customer and here this is why.

It is really hear to find clothes when you are at the beginning of your fitness journey.  The employees at Athleta worked hard to make sure I got some great workout apparel that worked for me and my body.  I can’t wait to go back someday and get more.
