With a busy almost 3 year old who is easily distracted, making meal time fun is a great way to ensure my son is going to have a full belly! Almost as important are products that help me make better use of my time. The last thing I want to do is sit in the kitchen preparing food. While I like to cook, I hate spending too much time doing it!
Recently I discovered funbites, and was thrilled to get to check it out! This brand new product is designed with food lovers young and old, and being only 3 months old has already been featured on CBS Morning Show, Parenting.com, and in Real Simple Magazine!

Our Review
We received the Luv it! heart pop mold in the mail. While the list of things to use it with is endless, I decided to try it on my son’s current favorite go-to meal. AB&J!!
A little almond butter, and jam, some whole grain bread… and voilà!
The funbites tool is really easy to use! Just follow these simple steps!
Step 1: Place funbites® cutter on top of food. Remove popper top and set to the side.
Step 2: Grab cutter handles on both sides, press down firmly and rock 5-6 times to cut through the food.
Step 3: Lift the cutter up, insert popper top and pop out the bite-sized pieces!
Squishy thought the heart was super fun. He especially liked that he could play with it, and the smaller hearts!
Clean up can be done by hand, or in the top rack of the dishwasher. With the almond butter we had to do a bit of both.
Overall, I really liked it. It was basic and easy to use. I wasn’t thrilled with the clean up time with the almond butter and jam, but that is sticky no matter what utensil you use!
It really did make meal time a little more fun. I can’t wait to use it on something for holidays or birthdays! Who doesn’t need more hearts in their lives? I also will be purchasing the square pop mold. I think that would be perfect for everyday use!
funbites cost $12.99 each OR you can buy both funbites molds for $19.99. The can be purchased on funbites.com!
You can find funbites on Facebook and Twitter.
Disclosure: I received a funbites Luv it! mold to facilitate my review as part of a campaign for Mamma Media. All opinions expressed are still 100% my own. I was not required to provide a positive review. All giveaway rules can be found here.

What a great idea. I love the fact that it uses most of the bread so there’s little to no waste. It sure beats having to manually cut up each meal!
