August 31, 2012 By Emily 16 Comments

Want to escape this Labor Day weekend?

Then head to the movies with your family and check out three of my favorite movies of the year!

The Avengers may be hitting stores on BluRay/DVD this September 25th, but this weekend will be your LAST CHANCE to see it on the big screen! (TRUST ME – you NEED to see this on the big screen!)

Don’t miss it! It will be gone September 7th!

Still need and added push to go?  Check out my review of Marvel’s The Avengers to find out why everyone, even moms, will love this movie!

If you have already seen The Avengers, or are looking for something that will tug at your heart strings – Check out The Odd Life of Timothy Green!  This movie is hands down my favorite movie of the whole year, and one of the best family films about parenting that I have seen in a long time!  Parents and Kids alike will enjoy this film!  Make sure to check out my review on The Odd Life of Timothy Green!

Finally, if you are looking for some stunning animation, make sure you see Disney Pixar’s BRAVE before it too is out of theaters!  Not sure if your kids will like this movie?  Make sure to check out my BRAVE movie review!

A movie is a wonderful way to spend the day indoors, especially since it’s still pretty darn hot here in Las Vegas!
