Halloween Dragon Costume from @funcostumes

October 8, 2012 By Emily 15 Comments

When I was little dressing up for Halloween was only a 1 day event, maybe 2 if Halloween fell on the weekend and you had a school party as well.  Here in Las Vegas there are so many different Halloween events in the month of October, dressing up happens 3-5 times!  So when my son had a hard time deciding between being a Police Officer for Halloween or a Dragon, I didn’t mind letting him be both as I knew we would be attending different events.

I looked really hard to find a Dragon costume that I liked, my son liked, and that would last longer than one wear.  After all with children dressing up doesn’t really end at Halloween!  We play dress up at least once a week here, and so I wanted something that would last, but at the same time I really needed it to be affordable.

I finally found the perfect Dragon costume at HalloweenCostumes.com!

This one piece rust colored zip up dragon costume was perfect and very well priced at only $29.99!  I just loved the perky ears, the fun claws at the hands and feet, and the cute tail!

The wings attach to the hands with elastic, so they can easily but used or let down if you child doesn’t want them on his hands anymore.  My only issue with this costume was the elastic in the hood was so tight that it swallowed my son’s face.  That was an easy fix though, I snipped one side of the elastic and it works perfect now without falling off or hiding his face.

I knew my son would love this and I was right!

It’s not even Halloween yet, and he loves to play Dragon out in our backyard!

You might be scared to see this Dragon running at you, but don’t worry he’s pretty harmless!

HalloweenCostumes.com has a EXTREMELY large selection of costumes to choose from for kids of all ages and adults too!  Make sure you follow them on Facebook and Twitter to catch some great deals and Halloween ideas!

That is a really cute costume. Haven’t seen one like that before. And it looks warm, which is the kind of costume usually needed in IL.

He is the cutest dragon! It looks like there is enough room to have heavy clothes on underneath, Iowa can be pretty cold at the end of October.
