My son is tough on everything he owns, and his shoes are NO exception. I swear sometimes his shoes are ready to be trashed before he even outgrows him. If you are a parent of a toddler you know that this is quite a feat given their feet grow at a crazy fast rate.
However, I am 100% confident that we have finally found a shoe that can stand up to the abuse my son puts them through. KEEN Shoes is a full family shoe line, with styles for men, women, and kids! With my starting school for the first time this year, I really wanted to find a pair of shoes that would function on every level my son needs them to!
CREATE, PLAY, CARE.
It’s a way of life, we call it HybridLife.
We all live many lives splitting our time between work, play and giving back.
At KEEN we call this living a HybridLife. HybridLife is the KEEN mantra, our commitment to create solutions in our product and business practices, to design footwear, bags and socks that enable you to play anyplace without a ceiling; and our promise to care for each other and the world around us. We invite you to join us in tossing on a pair of KEEN shoes, socks or a bag and to diving head first into living a HybridLife.
Many parents already know and love KEEN for their toe protecting summer sandals. These are perfect for your active kids, as they not only help protect your child’s foot, they are fun, and waterproof as well!
However, did you know that KEEN also has an equally fun and tough line of shoes that will carry your child through the whole school year, play time, and anything you or your kid puts the shoe through. As a parent I loved the Sula Leather shoe! I know that this shoe will be one my son can wear to school, play, and even dressed up!
Easy to wear, hard to wear out: the Sula Leather is a great looking shoe with a sturdy, sustainable construction. An adhesive-free vulcanized construction joins the handsome nubuck leather upper to a non-marking rubber outsole for a classic sneaker look with a smaller environmental footprint.
I have to say he looks pretty handsome and grown-up in these shoes. But really, with a toddler it’s not about how he looks, it’s about how he plays. I can tell you these shoes have allowed him to play exactly as he loves to – HARD!
The Sula Leather KEEN shoe retails at $50 and comes in several different colors. I look forward to watching my son attempt to destroy these shoes in his many adventures, and when the time comes I can honestly say we will be picking up a new pair!
In the meantime Mommy is eying the Akita High Boot for women. I have a feeling they will be making it to the top of my holiday wish list!
