Four Great Books For Easter and other Easter Basket Ideas

March 28, 2013 By Emily 34 Comments

Like many parents, this week we will be putting together an Easter Basket for both of our boys.

Since Easter falls during spring, I love to make sure our baskets are filled with toys/gear aimed at the Spring season and outdoor play!

Some of the things I like to include are:

  • Cars
  • Bubbles
  • Sidewalk Chalk
  • Sand Toys
  • Movies
  • Small Stuffed Animals
  • Fruit Snacks
  • Sunglasses
  • Hats
    and
  • Books

This year I received four books from Silver Dolphin Books, and they are going to be the PERFECT addition to their Easter Baskets!

I don’t do Easter Baskets, but everyone in my husband’s family does, so my kids don’t miss out. I only wish they would skip all the chocolates and candy and fill the girls’ baskets with books, stickers and non-food treats.

I put a combination of candy, toys, a book and a video usually. I always liked bible story books as a kid, by the way.

When our daughter was little we always put sidewalk chalk in her Easter baskets too! Am not opposed to candy either, so she got plenty of that 😉
