I have to admit I am loving being an ambassador for Restaurant.com and trying all these fun local restaurants. I am 100% certain that even when my ambassadorship is over, my family will continue our once a month dining date with Restaurant.com! This last month we headed to North Las Vegas to try out some Mexican Cuisine.
Que Mas is located at 1435 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032. It’s tucked away in the corner of the shopping center next to a little bar. After calling the restaurant because we couldn’t quite find it, we were able to get some better directions (between N Martin L King Blvd/Camino Al Norte and Home Depot Dr on the side of the building), we were all ready to go and enjoy a family night out.
I have to say the first thing I noticed about the restaurant was the smell of smoke. It is attached to the bar, and the smoke is very noticeable. My husband informed me that they also share a bathroom, so that might explain a lot. Bound and determined to have a good night, we decided to stay. I’m glad we did. The food was very good, and the service was excellent.
My son may only be 3, but he sure can speak his mind. After trying the salsa (which was very spicy) he loudly told the server it was too spicy and hot. I apologized for my son, and instead of shrugging it off as typical child behavior the server returned with a plate of bean dip so my son could dip his chips. Let me tell you, that makes a big difference to me and had a huge impact on my son.
To start our night out, we all enjoyed the fresh made guacamole made to order. I took a few sips of a very tasty margarita, and enjoyed it very much! My son ordered a cheeseburger (I know – a cheeseburger in a Mexican restaurant?) and said it was very delicious. My husband enjoyed the Santa Fe Steak very much, and left very little on his plate, while I dined on the vegetable fajitas which were among the best I’ve ever had.
I wish they could do something about the smoke. If they could this would be a family favorite of ours, but I don’t think we will return with our young boys. I would venture back for a girls night!
If you are in North Las Vegas and looking for Mexican cuisine, go to Restaurant.com print out your $25 e-certificate and enjoy a fun and tasty evening!
Disclosure: I am a restaurant.com ambassador and as part of the program was provided with a few $25 e-certs to dine locally. All thoughts and opinions are 100% honest and my own!

Huge bummer about the smoke, I wouldn’t be able to handle it with my asthma. But I’m glad the food was good!

I love Mexican food. All our restaurants are smoke-free here. Even if a restaurant has a bar, it has to be smoke-free. That’s nice!
