New on DVD: Delhi Safari | Family Movie

April 16, 2013 By Emily 25 Comments

New to DVD & Blu-Ray comes a fun family film from ARC Entertainment.

Delhi Safari– A Tale of Adventure is sure to have your animal loving children enjoying the story from beginning to end.  This family movie has a run time of 97 minutes and is rated PG.

With actors like Jane Lynch and Christopher Lloyd voicing the characters it is a movie the whole family will enjoy watching.  My son received an advanced copy to review and I know he was excited because he just thinks talking animals are so funny!  He loved all the colors and the story.

There are a few scary scenes, and some innuendos like many animated movies have.  As the rating PG (Parental Guidance suggests, I would recommend watching it with your child to be able to discuss them. (Like when the Dad dies…)  I didn’t like the use of words like “dumb” and “stupid”, but I did like the overall eco-friendly message of the film.  The Bollywood theme was also enjoyable.

About the Movie!

A wacky pack of mismatched animals takes on the human race as they travel to the big city to protest the destruction of their jungle. How can a leopard cub and his mother, a peace-loving bear, a mischievous monkey, and a wisecracking parrot present their ideas to a bunch of humans? You’ll find out in this hilarious and heart-warming adventure that will have you cheering at the end.
