With 2 kids and my husband working overseas, getting everyone packed up into the car and to the gym doesn’t always happen the way I want it to. I’ve used workout DVDs and while I like them I tend to get bored easily. When I was offered a chance to review FitnessGlo as part of a sponsored campaign with Fitfluential. FitnessGlo is a website created by women for women to sneak a workout into their busy schedule. For $12 a month you have access to many different types of workouts of varying lengths and levels of difficulty.
So what makes FitnessGlo unique?
- Find a Workout – Do the Workout: You can search videos by workout type, class instructor, your level of fitness, or time you have available. For me the difficulty is often time. If the baby doesn’t nap I can choose a shorter workout that I can squeeze in while he plays next to me.
- 8 week jump start programs: If you aren’t sure where to start you can let FitnessGlo do the work for you by joining one of the 3 levels of 8-week fitness programs. All you have to do is choose your level of difficulty and show up!
- Track Workouts: Personalized for your skill level, FitnessGlo allows you to set goals for weekly workout hours and find a balance between strength, cardio, and stretching.
- Schedule Classes: Each week you can schedule yourself classes based on the time you have available during each day. For me, I know the M,W,F I will always have a small window of workout time at 1pm. By scheduling classes I am able to help keep myself more accountable, plus there is no wondering what workout I will do that day, I have already scheduled it in advance so I can just get it done!
- The FitnessGlo Blog: This is a really neat feature that you won’t find on any DVD. The FitnessGlo blog is filled with tips, tricks, and motivation. I personally like their motivation Monday posts, and try to make a habit of visiting them prior to my Monday workout. You can also find tips from the trainers, and the highlighted class of the week here.
FitnessGlo works for me and my busy schedule, and at $12 per month it is less expensive than a gym membership, and is like buying a new DVD monthly which if I was working out at home I’d most likely do anyway. I will be renewing my membership!

I would most definitely try the Strength Total Body workout first. I like that you don’t need any equipment, so it would be wonderful during the summer when we’re traveling to be able to keep up a work-out routine whenever I find a moment.
I would be thrilled to win this membership! Fitnessglo sounds like the best way for someone like me, with little time to themselves (I’m a mostly at-home mom of an 18-month old), to get back into a work-out routine. I am all too aware that in neglecting to exercise I have been neglecting something that has always been important to me and is vital to my health, but I haven’t yet found the solution that allows me to stay motivated through varying exercise routines, AND works around my schedule. Fitnessglo could change everything!!!
I would love to try the Tabata and HIIT workouts for the intense calorie burn! I would also like to try any strength training workouts because that is one area that is really lacking in my fitness routine right now.
I would love to win this membership because it is a cost effective way to workout. I am planning on moving out and getting my own apartment soon, so I feel like even with the $12/month cost this is still cheaper than a gym membership and super convenient! Also, I like how you can do the Fitnessglo workouts whenever it is convenient for your schedule, whether it is early AM or late at night. My mom and I also like to workout together, and I think Fitnessglo would be great for us.
My favorite motivational quote for everything in my life is “If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough.” This applies to so many things – fitness, career, personal goals. Who says you can’t dream big and go after your passions? I want to run a marathon this fall and my inner voice is always saying that it will be hard and I probably can’t do it. However, I know that it’s something I have to do because it scares me and it is pushing me to be the best version of myself.
Recharge your batteries and walking for energy!
I would like to win because I’ve been looking to start an at home work out routine. This looks like it has a great variety.
Strength Total Body or HIIT – Sports Inspired Intervals would be my first choice
My husband inspires me as he get up early to jog almost every morning
I’d like to win as I do not have any like for running so should be doing this type of program while my husband is out there doing his run.
I would love to try any of the step classes! Those are my favorite:)
I want to win this membership because with my other half working two jobs, I rarely get time to get out of the house without the kiddos. It would be great to have a routine to follow at home.
