If there is one thing I really dislike about being a grown up it is all the cleaning I am constantly doing. I just never found a love, or even a peaceful partnership with cleaning. Obviously it has to be done, so when it comes to supplies and cleaning products I try my best to find ones that will not only work, but work really well so I can cut my cleaning time.
Living in Vegas has brought a whole new meaning to “dusty”. We live in a desert and let me tell you – I am ALWAYS dusting and vacuuming!! Both my son and I have asthma so it isn’t something I get to slack on.
Recently Eureka reached out to me to see if I wanted to test their new Eureka AirSpeed ALL FLOORS vacuum bagless upright before it hit the shelves.
I own a pretty expensive vacuum but I was very intrigued with Eureka said that the new AirSpeed ALL FLOORS Bagless Upright Vacuum AS3011A had patented “floor-to-cup airpath” technology that decreases the distance that the dust needs to travel and increases airflow to provide maximum suction power and leave you confident that no matter what life throws on your floors it will be clean.
Translation? Less dust escaping into the air, fast clean, less time spent vacuuming!
I was ready to take on the challenge, but I was intrigued by their independent testing saying that it cleans better than the $350 Dyson DC41. The Eureka AirSpeed ALL FLOORS vacuum only costs $98, so it’s at a price that is in a lot more families budget than a Dyson vacuum, but wouldn’t make them feel like they weren’t getting as clean.
The final selling point for me on this vacuum was the fact that it is designed to clean ALL FLOORS with a brush roll that turns to deep clean carpets AND can safely remove dirt on bare floors! I like the idea of being able move quickly from one surface to another.
As part of the power panel testing team I was asked to put the vacuum through some tests. I chose to do all three tests because if it was me doing the research on a vacuum I’d want as much information as I could get.
I’ll be honest – I put off doing this review a bit. Mostly because I really HATE to clean!!
But after a super easy assembly…
And seeing that they had made every possible issue I have with vacuums easy. I was warming up to this vacuum.
How did the Eureka AirSpeed ALL FLOORS preform?
My final thoughts?
I shared most of my thoughts in the above video review, but if you need a bottom line and don’t have anytime to watch the video I will say this…
THAT! That is so gross! I truthfully was shocked that this vacuum would get that much dirt out of my carpets! Mostly because I had just used my Oreck (which cost WAY more than $98) TWO DAYS PRIOR! My children were playing on that! It goes to show you just how effective this vacuum cleaner really is! This picture alone was enough to sell me on the vacuum and let me know that a $98 vacuum can indeed clean as well or better than it’s expensive counterparts.
Buy it!

The most important feature to me is retractable cord and easy to empty.
Most important feature in a vaccuum … it must pick up as much dirt and dog hair as possible!! And the retractable cord is my new favorite feature, I always hated winding those cords up!
A good filter to keep dirt and allergens in the vacuum
Definitely has to have really good suction, easy to clean/empty and looooove the retractable cord 🙂
Good suction our current one (my parents old one) the wand part doesn’t suck well and I would love to have that feature again!
I love a retractable cord!!
ohh…how I love cleaning stuffs! I gotta have the vacuum wand on any vacuum.
Efficiently cleans, I hate going over the same area numerous times.
& that it’s lightweight!!
I need to have great suction power to get the pet hair up and attachments too clean my couch
there are two features i look for: easy assembly (if i could purchase everything already put together, i would LOL) and a filter that is easy to remove and clean.
That is clean all floors efficiently without a lot of extra effort on my part (i.e. changing settings, more passes, etc.)
Good transition from carpet to tile
we have two cats so enough suction to get rid of the hair is crucial!!
A powerful suction is the most important feature.
I like a vacuum that is light weight and works on multiple surfaces.
I like a light weight vacuum that can work on different surfaces.
suction is the most important; if i can’t get all the feathers and down up, then the vacuum is useless.
I have a vacuum right now that does not suck up the stuff good enough which is aggravating. So I need a vacuum that can suck up all the dirt and hair! That is so important.
The best feature is the filter to reduce allergens!
The most important feature for me is the ability to pick up pet hair and a long cord!
The ability to pick up dog hair and crushed cheerios!!
I kinda like a light weight vacuum. Dragging it up and down the stairs is a pain…
My most important feature in a vacuum for me is that it picks up pet hair so has powerful suction.
I love that it can clean ALL floors without any extra effort on my part…we have tile, wood, and carpet in our main living area and it is a pain to have to change attachments or remember to push buttons when switching to different areas.
I like a vacuum that can get things clean and is easy to get baseboards and ceilings with. I also have an Oreck but it seems to be having issues right now! Would love this esp. being prego seems lightweight!
The most important feature is the ability to clean up pet hair.
light weight to bring upstairs
Besides great suction – easy of use. I don’t want to spend more time putting parts together for particular “jobs” that I do actually vacuuming!
I like for a vacuum to be lightweight with good suction and dust attachments I would love to win this one.
The most important feature would be if the vacuum works equally as well as carpet and on tile flooring.
How well it suctions. I have 3 messy kids and they are constantly making messes.
I need something that works! I need it to suck up dirt but also Cheerios, peas and sand!
A good vacuum should pick up dust, hair & dirt on the first swipe!!
Effective suction (and suction that lasts beyond the initial few times the vacuum is used) is ultimately the product’s most important feature for me. That’s amazing how much dirt you picked up AFTER using a supposedly quality name vacuum cleaner. I hope the Eureka has staying power, and if so, I would love to win one and I will happily report back with the good news!!
The most important thing to me is power, it has to effortlessly remove debris and dirt.
The most important feature for me in a vacuum is for there to be no loss of suction.
The Most Important Feature For Me Is Powerful Suction!
The retractable cord!
I like your honesty! Great long cord and thrilled that it works on bare floors so well. We have a lot of tile and wood – and two dogs plus 3 live-in grandchildren means lots and lots of dirt and hair to clean up!
Powerful strong suction is the most important feature
pick up pet fur and get a good deep clean
The most important feature to me is that it picks up all the dirt and floor in my carpets! I love when they can clean hard floors as well!
That it has cleaning attachments
Bagless is most important to me!
Being an owner of 8 cats, and a Mum of a preschooler, it’s important to have a vacuum that can handle pet hair & messes that come with children!
The most important feature in a Vacuum is picking up all the dirt!
Suction
Strong suction, lightweight, and long-lasting!
Suction on hardwood!! 90% of our floors are wood, and our current vacuum does a great job on carpet (Woo, one clean room!) but is so bad on the wood floors. I get annoyed every time I vacuum.
Ugh. I have a dyson. I feel so gross now.
The most important thing to me is functionality. Something that really does it’s job and lasts a while without issues.
I can testify that the older version of this eureka is magical. It’s the only one I buy. I even use
It in my fireplace.
Usability on hardwood floors!
that it cleans fully, without having to go over it again a second time to catch what didn’t get picked up
The suction.
Great suction
Multi-surface cleaning (carpet and hardwood) and I love bagless design.
I want it to pick up pet hair with no problem.
its got to be compact! we have less than 600sqftf for 4 people and pets.. lots of dirt and fur but not much storage!
My must-have feature is that it be bagless. Once you have used a bagless vacuum, it is hard to go back to a bagged one.
how long it lasts. because all my vaccums always die within the first year!
I need a long-lasting vacuum
I really look for a powerful vacuum that can clean on all surfaces.
Powerful suction is the most important.
It must be lightweight.
I like a vacuum that is lightweight and has good sucking power
I value suction the most. I can make pretty much any vacuum fit my needs as long as it has thr power to get dirt up.
Retractable cord and SUCTION !!!
Suction power is the most important, but I like that it’s bagless too.
One of the most impirtant features in a vacuum to me is how well it works on corners and edges. I hate when a vacuum doesn’t clean these well. I also like being able to clean/empty it easily.
I like a vacuum that does not clog easily and one that is stair friendley
I like a vacuum that is light so I can carry it up and down the stairs.
The most important feature to me is that it deep cleans and has powerful suction.
lightweight. I’m around 105 pounds, so i’m looking for lightweight in a vacuum.
That is works well on hard surfaces.
That it goes from one type of surface to another easily
has to be lightweight
I need a vacuum that has good sucking power. I don’t want to have to go over the same space twice.
I want a vacuum that can be stored easily and isn’t huge!!
being bagless
The most important feature in a vacuum is power. I have three children and four dogs so always lots of big messes to clean up!
Strong suction power is the most important thing to me.
suction power thanks for the giveaway
Washable filters is the most important feature I look for.
Long cord and good suction.
The feature I look for is a vacuum that can tackle pet hair. Because The biggest problem we have is pet hair all over. We have 2 dogs and 5 cats that are all rescues. Currently they are shedding their winter coats. The pet hair is on tge floors and furniture. My current vacuum cleaner has died and I need a new vacuum cleaner.
for me I like something that is easy to use and clean. And that does the job good.
I like ones that are lightweight and bagless…..with good suction!
I like that it is safe to use on all floors.
Suction is very important as are light weight and easy to store.
I look for a vacuum that doesn’t loose suction.
Good suction and able to do the job on all surfaces.
Oh I think the suction is #1. I really need something to get up the dog hair. I feel like I just vacuum…and he goes to play on the floor with his trucks…and gets hair all over him already.
Suction. If it doesn’t pick up the dirt well, then it’s just not a good vacuum. That comes before all the fancier stuff.
Durability!
The most important feature I look for in a vacuum, is it must have power to pick up, I don’t want to to have to go over the carpet three or four times to pick everything up 🙂
sucction is most important
For me it’s the suction power
I was just chosen as one of the winners of the awesome giveaway. Thank you Emily and Eureka.
Awesome content and that vacuum is perfect for carpet cleaning.
