Weekly Paleo Menu Plan | Menu Plan Monday

August 11, 2013 By Emily 23 Comments

Welcome back for another Menu Plan Monday! I haven’t been 100% sticking to the Paleo lifestyle and I am sure feeling it.   While I am not ready to do another round of Whole30, I do want to keep my food in check better.

In an effort to get back on track I’m keeping it simple!  You know K.I.S.S. minus that last S.  No need for name-calling here!

"Meal Planning" "Paleo" "Paleo Meal Plan"

Breakfasts will consist of smoothies in my new Blendtec blender or eggs.  Lunch will be salads, or leftovers, and dinner will be things I love to eat or I am really excited to try.   I have to thank my friend Nannette for sharing the “I can’t stop eating this Kale salad”, because I truly can’t stop eating it! I make a whole bowl at a time and then add to it as I eat my meals.  It has become part of my weekly meal prep!

Other meal prep?  Shredded Chicken breasts in the crockpot, hardboiled eggs (although I’m beginning to wonder if eggs and Baby D aren’t getting along…), and tons of roasted veggies!

What’s For Dinner?

I Can’t Stop Eating This Kale Salad

Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

Hawaiian Pizza Salad

Left over Garlic Pork with Roasted Veggies

Pecan Chicken Fingers with Mashed Cauliflower – From eMeals  (Did you know they have Paleo menu plans?!)

Do you have a favorite Paleo recipe you’d like me to try?

A Girl Worth Saving has a lot of good paleo recipes. Does kale taste good? I have not had it but heard it is a super food.

Everything you have listed sounds good. I’m not following a Paleo diet but I don’t eat wheat, so it’s pretty much a modified Paleo, if there is such a thing.

Can’t think of a specific recipe, but I did make cauliflower rice for the first time last week and it was so much better than I thought it would be!

I’ve been wanting to try the Paleo diet – it doesn’t sound as unappealing as I thought haha.

The salad sounds great! I’d so try it, but I’d have to substitute it with mock meat since I can’t do real meat (makes me sick for some reason).

Paleo is pretty basic food. Meat and veggies. No grains or added sugars. So I’m sure you have, it just wasn’t labeled as “Paleo” 🙂

Two of my sisters are on a paleo diet. I’ll have to be sure they are both following your weekly meal plan series.

I alwasy think I would not be able to do Paleo but then I see menus on some blogs and rethink that. Looks like it’s going to be a yummy week.

I was really worried about it – mainly bc I love dairy. Once I had to give that up for my baby I had no excuses. I’m loving it!
