Fun Art for Toddlers Found on Pinterest

April 16, 2012 By Emily 15 Comments

Who is ready for a Momfession?

Momfession: I am pretty bad about doing art projects with my son.

But this spring/summer that is going to change!  I have made it my mission to do at least 1-3 per month.  This doesn’t include what he does at playgroup or class.  And thank goodness for Pinterest!  It is a wealth of ideas!!

Here are some of our upcoming projects!

I love these Bingo Dauber Dot Art letters.  They are educational and fun!  Plus 26 letters = 26 projects.  (Although I’m fairly certain we’d do more than one in a sitting…)

I know he will love this Animal Print Art project too!! Plus I can do his cars one time too!

Most of his art will hit the fridge door, or perhaps even just go into an art file (I have one per year…) But these next two projects are ones that could last on my walls for years to come!! Or make grandparent gifts!

And when I get stuck – I can always turn to this fabulous blog and her list of 30 crafts/activities JUST for toddler boys!

Love arts & crafts with my son. I sometimes think I enjoy them more than my son. 🙂

I am bad with the art projects, too, even though I’m an artist! I get too stressed, thinking it has to play out as I see it in my head. These are fantastic ideas…even if my kids are out of the toddler days…love the blossom idea!

    Love Pinterest!

It’s been awhile since we sat down for a big project; I ended up creating “activity bags” (full of little games, art projects, etc) for them to do while I’m taking care of the baby. They love them and have been wanting to focus on them lately.
