Whew! The holiday is over, and boy oh boy was it a fun week. I loved getting everything ready for my family to enjoy the holiday. After enjoying the day letting Squish rip open his Christmas presents, we had family friends over for a holiday dinner at our home.
I cooked a Ham, Fresh Green Beans, Diced Red Potatoes, and homemade cookies for dessert. We noshed on fresh vegetables while dinner was cooking. (I tried to fill up on those to avoid filling up on other not as healthy foods.)
All in all it was a lovely week. It was very hard to stay on track as we ate out a lot this week (holiday happenings), but by using my Meal Tracker I was able to follow a bit of the plan.
Last week was a really hard week for me emotionally. I am frustrated with my weight loss or lack there of. Nutrisystem is such a wonderful program, I really needed to refocus and realize that it is a lifestyle change, and not an overnight success.
As a result of last week, I decided to NOT weigh in this week. Consider it a Christmas Present to myself. I will be back next week with a weigh in, and hopefully a loss at that!
I hope you enjoyed the holiday with your family! Time to focus on the New Year!! I have a feeling that thanks to Nutrisystem 2011 is going to be My Year!!
Week 4: -0.8
Week 5: 0.0
Week 6: Bye-week

I think the holidays are just such a hard time of year when it comes to weight – there is SO much eating involved with everything! Good for you for taking it easy and not weighing in, I hope that next week you see some great results! ๐

Good for you! Christmas is difficult & the more pressure you put on yourself, the more you (read: me) are likely to fail. Just keep at it & you will begin to see awesome results!
