What a fun week this past week was!
Monday: Had a great play-date at the park. My little man is getting so active, it is hard to keep up with his curiosity!
Tuesday: Chilled at home with my Dude. Google Chatted with my Hubs!
Wednesday: Girls Night out at Blue Martini Las Vegas. (Highly recommend a drop in if you are in the area!)
Had a Blast hanging out with some rockin Blogger friends. I also won a pair of Gucci Shoes at the event. (More on this later!!)
Thursday: Ditched Playgroup (sorry mamas) to relax at home. (Hey – this Mama isn’t used to hanging out til the wee hours in the AM!) Did lots of Coloring with the Little Man.
Friday: Met up with Lolo and Baybah for a fun morning play-date at the Springs Preserve. Given it was Earth Day and spring break, it was pretty busy. But our boys managed to have a bit of fun at the playground there. We would have stayed longer, but 82 degrees, sunny, and crowds makes for some crabby babes!
After a nice nap (for Squish and Me) we attempted to go to see the Easter Bunny. It was a fail. The line was way too long for a 22 month old. Patience may be a virtue, but you have to understand virtue to have patience. Instead, I let the Squishy Boy run around the indoor playground. He tries to play with the big boys. But he forgets he isn’t a big boy yet. I was really frustrated that this one boy pushed him twice. He shook it off like it was fun.
Then Mommy and Auntie peaked into Forever 21 and bought a few pieces of super cute jewelry. (Don’t worry hubs, my earrings were $1.50 and my necklace was $3.80)
Saturday: Took Squishy to get his first big boy haircut. Sure, I have cut his hair before, but it ended in tears for both of us. So I finally took him in to get it done.
Say Bye-Bye Baby:
Hello Big Boy:
Mommy got in on the action too. But after coming home looking like Kate (From Jon & Kate) I took the scissors into my own hands. I now has a pixie perfect for summer.
Later that evening, I headed out to meet some girls at a local country bar. No drinks for this lady, my allergies were giving me a run for my money. It was still fun to get out and see friends. (And show off my Forever 21 Jewelry!)
Sunday: Squishy and I headed to church. We loved the church puppet show the youth in the church put on. We came home, and I cooked a Southwestern Potato Egg Frittata. After Squish took a nap, the Easter Bunny made an appearance at our home. We hunted eggs in the backyard, and headed back inside to enjoy the goodies in a some baskets.
So that was my week – did you do anything fun??

Sounds like an awesome week! I love both of your haircuts! It looks like your squish really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. I spent my week hanging out with my little girl. This weekend we (my husband and I) had her first “professional” pictures done and on Sunday we celebrated her first Easter. =)
