Weekly Family Menu | #MealPlanning

March 11, 2013 By Emily 14 Comments

Don’t you love weeks when your family loves what you cook?  That was my week last week.  My husband loved both the Chicken Picatta and the Roasted Potatoes, Chicken Sausage, and Peppers were both raved about!  (Click here for these family friendly recipes.)

This week, I decided to check out Pinterest for some Weight Watchers friendly recipes!  I found so many!  I recently joined a Pinterest group board called “Tried and Loved Pins.” So I thought I’d use this week to join in!  All links for the recipes this week can be found on my Pinterest Board “Weight Watchers Recipes”.  I hope you check them out – and feel free to share your Pinterest links below so I can follow you and get more ideas!

This Week’s Menu:

Monday: Dining out with Restaurant.com!  (Yum!)

Tuesday: Chicken with Zucchini and Feta

Wednesday: Leftovers

Thursday: Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Friday: Slow Cooker Thai Chicken

Saturday: Leftovers

Sunday: Soup, Salad, or Sandwiches

I’ve also been trying to pre-plan my breakfasts since it’s the time of the day I tend to struggle the most.  More often then not I end up eating nothing, which is really not good for me as I am breastfeeding, and I usually end up over eating later due to being hungry.  Recently I started following MealPrepMondays on Instagram (you should too!!) and when they posted this picture it was a little light bulb for me! Super simple tips to making sure I don’t start my day with a fail!

What kind of meal prep do you do weekly?

I hate to admit that right now I don’t do any weekly meal prep. Yikes!

I don’t do any…which is probably why I get so stressed figuring out what to cook 😛 The Slow Cooker Thai Chicken sounds mighty tasty!

I don’t do much meal prep – the closest I get is maybe making extra meat of some sort to use later in the week for another recipe.

My husband and I have made a commitment to sit down this weekend so do our financial planning for the months to come, and a first, a meal plan!
