That is why I’ve partnered with DietBet and will be hosting a summer DietBet! Starting in 6 days we will all set a goal to lose 4% of our body weight in 4 weeks! Together we can support and cheer each other on.ย  We can share healthy recipes, fun ways to get in exercise, and lose weight together!

How DietBet Works:

  • Pay $25 to join the game
  • SHARE! The more people who join, the more money we can win at the end!
  • Weigh in (June 14-15)
  • Spend 4 weeks losing weight
  • Check in as much or as little during the 4 weeks as you would like.
  • When the game ends (July 14-15) weigh in again

How Do They Know We Lost The Weight?

The online moderators have you take a picture of your weight and you with the secret code word that is only given when the weight in time frame starts. This keeps the game honest.

Do I Have To Tell You How Much I Weigh?

No one has to see your weight unless you want to share it other than the DietBet mods.ย  If you are wondering how much I weigh I shared it in my “let’s get real about my weight” post. I even posted my before pictures. (That was scary – but I can’t change unless I’m real about the changes I need to make!)

    I checked to see what 4% of my current body weight is and I’m like, yeah, I can do that. And, then I’m like…I’m not quite ready yet. I know it’s an excuse, but with breastfeeding, I want to get to the 6 month mark when she might start eating a little food first? Because in my head that’s totally logical! (knowing full and well, it isn’t!)

    I think the most efficient way to reach any goal, especially weight loss, is with the support of others who desire the same wants. Good luck on your goals. I am really trying to get healthy this Summer myself!

    This is a great idea. It is much easier when you have an incentive. When I blogged for a weight loss plan and I was required to update it was much easier to continue. Once that was done and life got in the way I fell out of practice and have been having the hardest time getting back into it.
