Hey everyone! I know I missed a few weeks of my menu plans… and this one is going up very late on a Monday night…
I try to stay on top of my blog, but honestly life is so chaotic these days it often takes a back seat. My priorities are my family, my fitness, my paid work, and then my blog… I’ve realized over the last few months that I really need to focus more on my boys and my health. In order to do that, something has to give. I won’t be absent, and I’m doing lots on YouTube these days too.
What I’m Loving Right Now:
Lemon and Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water to start my day every single day.
The first time I tried essential oil in my water I hated it. However, I just started using Young Living Essential Oils and I’m sold on taste alone! This tastes amazing! Using oil in place of actual lemon not only has all the benefits of detoxing your body and boosting your immune system, but also since it is cold pressed from the rinds which basically means that they aren’t acidic so you will not have to worry about hurting the enamel on your teeth from drinking lemon water. (They do however, dissolve petro-chemicals so you should never use citrus oil in a plastic glass.) The ACV (apple cider vinegar) is also detoxing, helps your body use fat instead of storing it (aka good for weight loss), and supports healthy blood sugars.

Next up after my workout in the am I’m juicing. I LOVE this easy and basic green juice recipe!
Then I have some eggs and sausage or bacon with fruit OR if I’m crunched for time I’ve been turning to my new favorite snack and breakfast food homemade paleo granola. (Stay tuned for the recipe!!)
Finally – this is my GO-TO dinner lately. In the past it was chicken sausage, and I’m still loving that, but for some reason I can’t get over this. I think it may be the rosemary in the Turkey burger combined with the caramelized onions/mushrooms.
I know you can’t see it… But there is the most delicious Trader Joes rosemary turkey burger underneath some caramelized onions, mushrooms, avocado, and tomatoes. Served with sweet potato wedges on the side.
Anyways… You probably just came for the menu plan…
Weekly Paleo Menu Plan!
Also since I’ve been asked this a few times before…
No my husband or son are not paleo. However they eat what I cook. Occasionally I will add cheese to their plates, or cook white potatoes for my husband. That said, we are likely going to transition my son to gluten-free/paleo for some health stuff he’s dealing with.
What’s on your menu plan this week?
As always, if something in my menu plan looks appealing to you, please let me know in the comments.

um
so
my plan is to steal your plan 🙂
Great ideas– and yum–Jalfrezi chicken and veggies.
Should I just let you know here which nights I’ll be over 😉 You are awesome for planning ahead because meal planning is one skill I definitley have not mastered yet.
I love this meal plan schedule. Tuesday is my favorite!! 🙂
It all sounds so good. Enjoy the birthday party!
Thanks so much. it’s so hard to find family friendly Paleo recipes.
That kahlua pork and the hamburger pasta sounds interesting/delicious! I tried paleo a year or so ago and generally liked it. Obviously it’s hard to give up things like rice, pasta and bread but it definitely is for the better. Now I just try to limit how much of those things I am eating 🙂
I always feel so good drinking that too, but I cant do it because of my teeth. You mentioned that using the oil is still beneficial without the acid. I am excited to know this so I can start having this cleansing drink again!
My daughter has to eat gluten free, so we make a lot of paleo meals! I like that it’s healthier for all of us.
Thank you for sharing your menu. I have been wondering a Paleo plan would look like.
I drink lemon water all time time but didn’t realize the harm it might be doing to my enamel, I need to pick up some oils!
What a great meal plan. I am up for anything that will help my body use fat instead of storing it. Very cool. Thanks for sharing
sounds like great choices, I am going back on Paleo next week!
Looks like a great plan!
great menu! I have been trying to do Paleo since January but something comes up and I end up having a slice of bread or something “not on the list” I definitely need to stick with my paleo because I feel so much better when I don;t eat a bunch of gluten
It all sounds so good! Your IG feed always makes me so hungry, haha!
This looks like a great meal plan. So yummy, we love Bragg’s
What a great post..thanks for sharing, I love Meal Plans..yours totally rocks
I keep meaning to go Paleo to see if it helps so many issues we have. Just can’t get my husband to ditch the potatoes and pasta! But Kalua chicken I bet he’d try!
So glad I found your blog!! I’ve been trying to eat paleo so I will try some of your recipes!
Great menu I like all on it. I drink warm lemon water every morning. Apple Cider vinegar is so good for everyone but me I have low blood pressure and for some reason it drops it to fast and I faint but using in dressing in small amounts I can have. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Fabulous ideas and I never heard of using essentials oils to drink…Wow…learned something new!
You’re really doing great with the switch to paleo! I just had chicken jalfrezi recently and it was delicious!
That looks great! I’m going to have to give it a try.
I am the opposite of paleo but i love your dedication.
That looks like a delicious meal plan I want what you’re serving! I want to learn more abut the oils, thanks for the resources too!
We are BIG Braggs ACV fans in this household! No joke, we seriously have about 8 to 10 unopened bottles in the bathroom closet at the moment. Plus we also love, love, LOVE Young Living so I might just have to give that morning water a try 🙂
I love you menu for the week, thanks for some ideas. I will be trying the “pasta”.
i use organic ACV as well. we even give it to our chickens in their water 🙂
I am with you on the caramelized onions and mushrooms. They are sooooo good.
Wow, I love sweet potatoes so much and never thought of making little wedges from them! Great idea for sure!
That granola looks really good! I can definitely see myself giving that a try.
